Earlier today at the APGA Campaign House, the Women Initiatives For Greater Anambra (WIGA) also known as Umunwanyi Soludo ably led by Hon Mrs Amaka Obi had their victory party and installation of patrons as the group strategises for the task ahead.
During the event, the chairman of the occasion; Hon Chief Innoposh Chikezie (Ochendo Ichida) who expressed his gladness that the women came out massively during the campaign and on the Election Day to show their support to the incoming governor, His Excellency Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR and Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim
While speaking to the colourful Anambra women from their different locations who came out for the event; Mrs Amaka Obi thanking them for their endurance and perseverance encouraged them never to lose hope or give up as Prof Charles Soludo has many programs for the coming administration that will ensure Ndi Anambra are lifted to higher standard of living.
Comr Chinedu Nwoye (Glamour) the National Chairman of All Soludo Support Groups (ASSG) and Convener of Soludo Support Group (SSG) while addressing the women encouraged them to be steadfast.
Hon Uchenna Okafor (Wiper) who also inaugurated as one of the patrons of the organisation commend Hon Amaka Obi for her resilience and the calibre of women she has chosen to work with and their dedication towards the recent election victory for APGA and incoming governor Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo.
Hon Pete Ibida, Member representing Njikoka 1 at Anambra State House Assembly assured them that he will continue supporting the women as far as they keep faith with Prof Charles Soludo who he described as God’s divine gift not only to Ndi Anambra or Nigeria at large but also a rare gift to the world.
Hon. Sir Patrick Obalim Udoba who was ably represented by Comr David Emeka thanked the women for the role they played during the election and ensouraged to involve more likes mind for a better Anambra and for growth of APGA.
Other dignitaries in attendance were Prof Kate omenugha, Commissioner for basic education, Rt Hon Pascal Agbodike(Mmiri Oma) Anambra state deputy speaker and Lady Ify Atogu, Managing Director, Leisure Parks and Beautification.
