There has emerged a “national debate and discussions” over the call made by the Anambra governor-elect, Chukwuma Soludo recently in Abuja, on the need for a disruptive change in the Nigeria’s political leadership, need to disengage the culture of rentier politics through effective selfless leadership and need for the emergence of a new nation that works for its citizens just as we once had in the first republic.
In pursuit of a brighter future in the country’s political system, Soludo has triggered hope of a renaissance governance. He is confident about Nigeria and its future. He believes strongly that a new Nigeria must emerge from the grassroot level development, but before it’s emergence, the odd hurdles and challenges along the path must be disrupted.
