Ten days after Chief Joe Anatune’s appointment into the Solution Team as MD/CEO of ANSAA and two days after his 62nd birthday, he suddenly exited the world to be with his “chi”.
Uncle Joe, this is not a better time to tell a tale about our personal relationship, even more on how we related as if we had known each other for more than 20years. I am not here to write on how you enjoyed eating the food I made during our camping days in Isuofia on the course of 2021 gubernatorial campaigns and how you’d prefer me to drive you and also run errands with you.
Ewú chim, onwu eme m alú!!!
Kedú ife mmadu melu onwu?
I vividly remember the first time we met, when our principal and your friend, Governor Chukwuma Soludo CFR directed me to meet with you. You counted me lucky to be in Solution Team after I passed the written test which you gave me two topics to write on.
With your bylines; “Onwa writes from Awa”, “Be of a good cheers” and finally, “Solution is here”, you stirred up a loud ovation for yourself before departing. Yes, you came, you saw and you conquered.
Inspiringly you left with your untapped ideas on marketing and branding the Solution Government when we had needed you most.
Your death is too emotional for me. You are a teacher, a super-coach, a pen god, an embodiment of ideas, an adviser, a selfless humane and a father to all of us.
It’s sad you won’t live to see the liveable and prosperous smart megacity which we are to set to deliver.
Onwa na Awa, be of a “good cheers” in the bossom of the Lord!
Jee nke oma Uncle Joe!!!
