Danny Manu, a Ghanaian-British inventor, created earbuds with built-in automatic language translation. Over 40 languages can be translated by the earbuds.
The earbuds are called ‘Click’ and they are “the world’s first completely wireless headphones”. It provides live voice translation in 40 languages.
The wireless Bluetooth headset functions by connecting to a smartphone. Following that, the earphones will recognize the language being spoken and will speak a sentence or two of translation. Click, unlike comparable inventions, does not rely on the internet.
Since its introduction under the Mymanu brand, the device has attracted users from Europe, the United States, and Asia.
