Chris Brown isn’t a happy musician right now.
The singer was nominated for a Grammy Award at this year’s ceremony and assumed he would win.
In the Best R&B Album category, he competed against Mary J. Blige for Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe), Robert Glasper for Black Radio III, Lucky Daye for Candydrip, and PJ Morton for Watch The Sun.
Glasper’s record received the award, which must have been a thrilling moment for him.
Brown, on the other hand, was enraged and took to social media to lash out at the results.
In one Instagram story, he asked, “Bro, who the f**k is this?” In another post, he asked who the fuck is Robert Glasper.
Chris admitted that if he wants to win another Grammy, he needs to up his game and even suggested that he pick up the harmonica next time to diversify his skill set.
In case you’re wondering, Robert Glasper is a pianist, record producer, songwriter, and musical arranger from the United States.
His win at the 65th Grammy Awards tonight is his fifth out of 11 nominations in eight categories.
While his primary focus has been jazz, he has also collaborated with Mac Miller, Anderson Paak, Banks, Brittany Howard, Kendrick Lamar, Denzel Curry, Q-Tip, Common, and many other well-known artists.
His 11th studio album, Black Radio III, was nominated for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical at this year’s Grammys.
