The Governor of Anambra State and Leader of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR has won 17 out of 30 Anambra State House of Assembly seats in the March 18 election.
From collation centers spread throughout the state, APGA won 17 of the 30 House of Assembly seats.
Collation continues in one more remaining constituency.
Anaocha 2, Njikoka 2, Dunukofia, Aguata 1, Aguata 2, Awka-North, Awka South 2, Orumba South, Ayamelum, Njikoka 1, Idemili South, Ekwusigo, Ihiala 1, Ihiala 2, Anambra West, Oyi, and Anambra East were all won by the ruling party in Anambra State.
Peter Obi’s Labour Party won seven seats which are; Awka South 1, Onitsha North 1, Onitsha North 2, Onitsha South 1, Onitsha South 2, Idemili North and Anaocha 1
Senator Ifeanyi Uba’s Young Progressives Party (YPP) won all three Nnewi constituencies which are; Nnewi North, Nnewi South 1 and Nnewi South 2.
Ogbaru 1 and Ogbaru 2 are the two seats that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) won.
